Tri-Quadular Cone
- by Carol Salmanson
A merger of color and line with the vocabulary of sculpture and architecture.
Carol Salmanson uses optics, lighting technologies, and reflective materials to create installations, wall pieces, and sculptures. Light’s singular spatial qualities allow her to build evocative worlds with color and shape. Salmanson's works have been exhibited nationally and internationally, and include a recent large-scale installation, Water Bubbles, in the windows of the Constructivist landmark White Tower in Yekaterinburg, Russia. She has also been reviewed in numerous journals including Il Giorno dell’Arte in Italy and NY Arts Magazine.
